    1. The chocolate shop was HUGE. We changed our minds several times of what we were going to buy :)

    1. It was pouring with rain at the cemetery. Brett said he had trouble leaving, it's the first time since he's been there since the funeral. The cow pats tasted great!

    1. They had sheep 'poo' too, choc covered peanuts or sultanas! We didn't get to climb the horse, poured the whole time. There was a wooden toy factory attached, we had a good look in there.

  5. Hahndorf is a gorgeous part of the world....even the rain couldn't dampen your spirits!

I'll take some cow pat please. I'll do poo related chocolate.

    1. We did find a great pub with an open fire and a kids playroom on saturday. Nice and warm and dry after the farm barn. The farm barn smelled like a cow pat, but the poo related chocolate was awesome. Lots of different flavours too :)

    1. It was pretty emotional, I had tears welling up on the way out. Brett was OK but said he didn't want to leave, if it wasn't so wet we would have stayed longer.

  7. So lovely to get away for a family break, even if it is raining. That last photo is an absolute gem :)

  8. These photos are all great, but the one at the cemetery in the rain is particularly touching. And I love the last one where she's holding the animal and looks partially excited, and partially petrified.
