Tricycle made for two

Brett started working and driving trucks for my brothers at the end of last year. They own the scrap metal recycling business my dad, Scrappy Joe, started in the late 70s. I am so proud of my Dad, he now lives a life of luxury, walking to the main street and back everyday and going to clearing sales here and there to keep busy. He is very well known and liked around the place.

When Brett came home from work and said he had something for Izzy, my only thought was, 'What the hell has he bought home this time?!'

  2. What a great bike! I remember taking trips to the tip with my Dad, looking for interesting bits and pieces to build billy karts and the like. Top find.

    1. Dad used to manage the tip in the small town we lived in as small children, we were scrounging experts. I cannot imagine letting my kids sift through garbage these days!!

  3. What an awesome trike! My girls want their dad to build them a billy cart so they're all in the process of collecting the bits.

  4. Very cool trike! When my older boys were younger they used to do this all the time. We have a few very unique looking "green machines".

  6. I use to have an uncle that brought home many interesting things from the tip, junk sales etc. Nothing as cool as this bike though.

    1. It is cool, I have never seen one like this before, even when I was a kid. They get all sorts of stuff that is still usable come into the scrap yard. Most of it gets crushed.

  7. That tricycle looks like it will provide loads of fun for your two little ones. I remember having one similar when I was a child and we had a ball with it :-)

    1. The kids next door even had fun with it too when he brought it home. I've never seen one quite like this one.
