Sunday drives

Autumn has well and truly hit. Cold nights and mild days are with us now. Gone are the days of thirty plus and the high twenty degree days. The past week and the forecast for the coming week are struggling to reach twenty!

Sunday a week ago, turned out a gorgeous day though, with the Geltwood festival markets in the main street of Millicent in the morning and a Sunday drive down to Pelican Point in the afternoon.

My niece and her husband, who have just returned from a couple of years overseas, joined us for the day. It was really good.

I fell in love with this immaculate HT Holden GTS (circa 1970) this is one car I would love to own!

  3. Aren't we lucky to have such a beautiful coastline nearby? That 3rd shot with the faint rainbow hue, magic! And fun with family, so good!

  7. You always have such lovely photos Alicia. I'm still waiting for Autumn to hit here in QLD, its felt like a continuous summer the last few weeks. Having said that though today is relatively overcast so maybe its finally got the memo that it's Autumn.

  9. Wow! Amazing photos and it looks like you had a fabulous and fun time. I am slightly envious of your cool weather. We are getting cooler mornings now and tolerable nights but the days are pretty warm. I love that boat wreck in the sand. You are making me want to explore your neck of the woods, more and more.
