Teenage wasteland

My place in time #3

The school holidays have just finished in South Australia. Our local skatepark, 'the skatey' as it's known, has been chock-a-block with teenagers everyday for the past two weeks.

It is right next to the local mega playground, so the whole precinct has been busier than usual.

My place in time - is a local area history project, set by Kell at Blackcurrant Photography

    1. It is a great area, at least the teenagers have somewhere to hang out, it would be worse if they didn't :)

    1. Thanks Ann! My son used to hang there a lot :) When it first opened he got his photo taken in mid air on his bike for the paper :)

    1. I didn't get a photo, but there was a P plated ute backed up with music blaring this day. There is no point taking the girls with their piddly little scooters when the big boys are there!

  5. I'm a fan of skate parks as a great form of energy release too. I really should take my little mate to one on a quiet day, cause I know he would have a great time :)

  7. So fantastic to see children outside rather than inside in front of a screen.
