  1. We had a fuschia tree as a kid and my mum would make the ballerinas. Ahh the memories.

    1. Thanks Ann. I have a straggly one in the garden trying to grow amongst other bigger plants. I only notice it when it gets flowers on it. I had one in our very shady driveway that carked it.

  7. Great shots! Love the big smile on your little girl's face as she's riding her bike! Looks like she'll get the hang of it in no time!
Hopscotch! Now, why don't all kids put their Wii's and their DSI's away and play more of that!?

    1. Her old one was looking ridiculously small for her. She was sooo excited when she saw it, especially the baby seat on the back!

  10. I adored hopscotch as a kid and was VERY competitive at it!. And the flower at the top used to be blue NZ and used to captivate me. Very cute of the girls on their bikes A xx

  11. Great pics - will have to drawer a hopscotch for the kids. My jonquils are just starting to come out of the ground. But this is the first cool day we have had today here.

    1. There is a hopscotch at the park that Izzy was starting to hop on, so I drew one in the driveway. She thought it was great. I thought May was too early for the jonquils, the weather has been a bit crazy. We haven't had that much rain, and today was 28!
