Autumn roses

The roses have come into a flush of flowers before they 'sleep' through Winter. I'll give them a prune then, before they come back to life in Spring.

  1. Beautiful, I bet they all smell divine!! Do you crush up eggshells and spread them around? My random fact for the day is that roses love them!!

    1. I don't do that, I had no idea they loved it. I know they like banana skins, but I still don't get around to putting them on. Most scraps go straight in the chook bucket. One of these days I will have to start a compost bin.

  8. Such a lovely 'bunch' of photos Alicia. I used to love it when mum pruned, I used to get all the petals and try and make potpurri! Em xx

    1. For how easy it is to grow the bushes, it is my favourite flower to have in the garden too. Definitely get good value from them :)
