I "am" not a thick soup fan but since surgery last year, soup is one thing I can have. Mind you, the recent surgery meant that there be no 'bits' in the soup. So, I made the soup - thin stock - with lots of veggies, pulses and a ham hock, then took the solids out once done and blitzed them and re-added to stock. Great ideas here! You are a creative cook!!
