Begonia

Begonia semperflorens comes in shades of pink, rose, red and white. They'll grow to 25 cm in height and like a bit of shade.

I have them in pots under the veranda on the back deck, and some in shady spots in the garden.

According to this, the semperflorens is. It might take some water to get it established.
Having a bucket in the shower is a good way to get some extra water to tip on your plants :)

  2. I hadn't heard of semperflorens before ...they're gorgeous. I love the red one especially. we do the bucket under the shower trick too to save a bit of water :)

  4. I love Begonias. They bloom year 'round; outdoors in summer, indoors in winter. One even came up from a seed in the greenhouse floor.
